What is LMPC Registration?

What is the process of applying for LMPC Certificate?
The government of India has created a centralized portal where in the companies can register themselves online. The following steps are to be followed in order to procure LMPC certificate for all your import needs.
Filing of Application – the first and foremost process is to fill the application form and get your company registered on the portal.
Documentation – Once you have filled the application you need to collect all the necessary documents in the governments format for your application to be filed.
Verification – As you have successfully submitted your application the department will scrutinize your application and if all seems good you have to pay the government fees for the final process
Downloading of LMPC Certificate – Once you get intimated by the department that your application has been approved you can download your certificate from the portal.

Who grants the LMPC Certificate Licence?
LMPC Certificate is issued by State’s controller of Legal Metrology and Centre’s Director of Legal Metrology. The certificate is usually issued within 10-15 business days.
How long is LMPC Certificate valid for?
The LMPC Certificate is valid for a minimum of 1 year to a maximum of 5 years.
